About Coaching
What I do as a coach…
As a coach, I partner with clients of all ages and backgrounds, working on a variety of challenges and thorny issues. Whether it's someone who wants to improve their health and feel better in everyday life, or someone facing a loss and significant life transition, I support my clients in building skills, strengths, and resilience. I work with individuals, couples, and small groups on challenges such as navigating a divorce, entering an empty nest phase, or living with a family member with addiction issues. It may be resolving conflict in a family, being squeezed by caregiving, living with chronic illness, or approaching retirement.
Coaching is compatible and complementary with therapy, but it takes a different approach. We work toward the future with a vision of your best self, thriving in ease, clarity, and confidence.
What coaching can do for you…
Coaching can provide a brave, confidential space to work through mental, physical, or emotional challenges. Grow support and accountability in pursuing goals of all kinds:
Build a toolbox of strategies that help regulate thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
Discover values, strengths, and motivations for change.
Enhance self-awareness and self-efficacy
Help to shift perspectives and reframe challenges
Assist in navigating life transitions and losses
Build and explore supportive resources, connections, and community
Empower you to discover purpose, fulfillment, and increased quality of life
Build self-care to improve stress resilience, sleep, nutrition, physical activity, and creativity

“Each person holds so much power within themselves that needs to be let out. Sometimes they just need a little nudge, a little direction, a little support, a little coaching, and the greatest things can happen.
— Pete Carroll
